CAIO is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This page explains your rights regarding your personal data and how to exercise them.

Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:

Right of Access — You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Rectification — You can request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to Erasure — You can request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Right to Restriction — You can request that we limit how we use your data.
Right to Data Portability — You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to Object — You can object to our processing of your data in certain circumstances.
Right to Withdraw Consent — You can withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent to process your data.

Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your personal data from CAIO, including any data obtained through connected social media accounts:

Send an email to caio@aimrank.io
Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line
Provide the email address associated with your CAIO account
Specify what data you would like deleted (or request full account deletion)

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm once your data has been deleted.

What Data We Delete

Upon a valid deletion request, we will delete:

Your account information (email, name, preferences)
Connected social media account data and credentials
Posts, drafts, and scheduled content
Media files you uploaded
Analytics and metrics data
AI job history and results
Team/brand membership data

We may retain certain data where required by law (e.g., billing records for tax purposes) or where we have a legitimate interest (e.g., fraud prevention). Any retained data will be disclosed in our response to your request.

Disconnecting Social Media Accounts

You can disconnect your social media accounts from CAIO at any time through your account settings. When you disconnect an account:

We revoke our access to that social media account
Stored credentials and tokens are deleted
Historical post data associated with that account is removed

You can also revoke CAIO's access directly through your social media platform's settings (e.g., Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites).

Data Processing Basis

We process your personal data based on:

Contract — To provide the services you signed up for
Consent — When you connect social media accounts or opt into features
Legitimate Interest — For security, fraud prevention, and service improvement
Legal Obligation — To comply with applicable laws
